In honor of the holiday week (here in the US), I'm keeping today's newsletter short and focused on what matters most: you.

Popping in to remind you that seeking joy and taking time away isn't selfish. When we work for ourselves, the pressure to show up for clients feels constant. We convince ourselves that taking time away means letting someone down. But the truth is, we all need time to recoup, to play, to experience life beyond our work.

Give yourself permission to do just that. And do it often.

I hope you take time this week to celebrate however feels right to you, whether that's with loved ones, your pets, your community, or in quiet solitude.
