I’m feeling calm and motivated this week. 

I’ve been experiencing a surge of momentum with the Harlow job board, newsletter, and our consulting business. 

My calendar is manageable, so there’s lots of time to get things done.

My brain can think more creatively and strategically.

With all this extra space and energy, I’m seizing the opportunity to think through the types of clients I want — and how to strategically get those clients this fall. 

When we’re running a million miles a minute or juggling too many tasks at once, we can stress ourselves into confusion. It’s easy to fall into a mindless rhythm when overwhelmed, and we might have a tougher time landing new business opportunities in that state. 

So here’s a little push for you this week to slow down. Think strategically about who you want to work with. Take the time to perfect your pitch. Maybe update your portfolio or social profiles to reflect it. And then apply for jobs strategically and thoughtfully.
